The Process
The PrintMETAL processor prints multiple colors directly from most computer files directly into the unsealed anodic layer of anodized aluminum. After printing the metal sheet is sealed using conventional hot water sealing techniques.
This processor has been designed to work in a demanding manufacturing environment with minimum operator input. Dye based ink is precision placed using industry leader Spectra piezoelectric print heads for maximum reliability.
The PrintMETAL processor has a touch screen user interface and supports Windows network integration with a familiar Windows print driver for easy operator controls.
Each ink bottle can be changed without disrupting operation, even when running the processor 24/7. A vacuum platen with multiple zones allows for a multiple of sheet sizes and thickness.
Prototype machines have been made and one is currently undergoing reliability trials in the production facilities of Metal Sign & Label, Brisbane, Australia. Right now we are trying to break the machine so when it gets to your production facility we know it will reliably start making your investment pay back.
Demonstrations and sample prints of this new printing technology can be arranged with expressions of interest being taken for delivery of new processors.
Expressions of interest for processor sales and international distribution are being sought.
